Director of Warehouse Operations

Job Summary

The Director of Warehouse Operations is responsible for the performance, efficiency, and quality of all warehouse-based departments: streaming, fulfillment, inventory, intake, and logistics. You’ll manage Stream Team Managers, enforce process discipline, solve bottlenecks, and ensure consignor inventory moves quickly and securely from intake to payout. This is a leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-moving, scale-up environments with real accountability.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily performance of all stream, shipping, and intake teams

• Manage and coach Stream Team Managers and support staff (e.g., Operations Analyst)

• Enforce process integrity from PO to AP: tagging, streaming, lot verification, and reconciliation

• Coordinate with Admin, Sales, and Client Success for cross-functional consistency

• Monitor KPIs (lots/hour, sell-through, error rate, fulfillment time) and optimize throughput

• Own scheduling, training, staffing levels, and conflict resolution across warehouse departments

• Assist with layout design, capacity planning, and facility expansion

• Report directly to executive leadership on warehouse operations and team performance

Ideal Candidate

• 5+ years experience in warehouse, production, or operations leadership

• Strong command of team management, metrics, and real-time problem solving

• Calm under pressure, with a bias toward execution

• Familiar with inventory software, dashboards, and light IT systems

• Bonus: Background in consignment, ecommerce fulfillment, auction operations, or collectibles industry
